Garments woven for women to use during ceremonial events in the communities.   Contains 52 ceremonial huipils and over-huipils from 47 towns and one hamlet, situated in 11 of the 22 departments of Guatemala, all in the highland region except Palín which is located in the zone running down to the Pacific littoral.   

 

Spanish/English.  Couché matte, size when open 35.25” x 23.25”, color photos.
